Ilha do Mussulo

Time out from the urban jungle

The Ilha do Mussulo is a popular weekend destination for the upper classes of Luanda.

The approximately 30 km long peninsula located south of Luanda is on its Atlantic facing side a little populated surfer paradise for advanced surfers.

The side facing the lagoon is characterized by calm water and offers some bathing facilities, restaurants, bars and leisure activities.

The small main island can be reached in a few minutes by boat.

Here you can relax with the whole family or experience an adventure with friends.

Enjoy the freshly caught fish overlooking the sea, relax with a breeze in the shade of the coconut palms or discover the small peninsula by quad. A Caribbean dream that invites you to take a little break.

The Trip

8:00 am:

Pick up at your hotel in Luanda

Within about 30-45 minutes we reach the jetty. There we enter a motorboat and drive to the peninsula.

Enjoy a day by the sea on the sun loungers. A typical fish dish with a view awaits you at lunchtime.

If you like it a bit more active then you can explore the island by quad or Jet ski.

After a relaxing day, we take you back to the mainland in the afternoon with a short boat trip and then back to the hotel.
