Pure and Authentic Tourism not only wants to operate tourism responsibly and sustainably, but also to give back to the communities we work with.
As far as possible, jobs are given to young Angolans, who are offered real future prospects through training and further education. In a country where educational opportunities are scarce, we invest in our people, in a family work environment at eye level, we form a team of solidarity that is passionate about offering you an unforgettable experience.
We are convinced that education never stops. The knowledge we build together is passed on to the families of our employees. Fair payment enables stable family and life structures to be established.
We employ local staff exclusively, including freelancers in structurally weaker regions of Angola, creating jobs and prospects where they are needed most. In our project regions, we go beyond tourism: we support the communities we work alongside, build small infrastructure where it is missing, such as a fuel station in Virei, and respond to acute need with donations and practical help when we see it.
As a traveller, you can make a direct difference. By choosing a locally operated tour, staying at locally run accommodation, and eating at local restaurants, you actively support the people and communities that make Angola worth visiting. Every Kwanza spent locally stays local, and contributes to building something lasting. We are happy to guide you towards choices that make your trip not only unforgettable, but meaningful.

Our tribal tours are built on the principle of cultural exchange at eye level — not human photo safaris. We visit as guests, not spectators, and our relationships with these communities are based on trust built over many years.
